To start working with adaware command line, open the command prompt as an administrator. A command prompt is an entry point for typing various commands in the Command Prompt window. By typing commands at the command prompt, you can perform different actions without using the graphical user interface (GUI).
To open the Command Prompt as an administrator, proceed through the steps listed below. Note: to complete the procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group.

- Click Start, click All Programs, and then click Accessories.
- Right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

- Click Start.
- In the Start Search box, type cmd, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.
Or click Start. In the Start Search box, type cmd, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.

- Press the Windows+X keyboard combination to open the Power User Tasks menu.
- When the menu is open, click the Command Prompt (Admin) menu option.
Or
- Click Start.
- In the Start Search box, type Command Prompt.
- Right-click the Command Prompt icon.
- Take the cursor to the bottom of the screen and click the Run as administrator icon.

- Press the Windows+X keyboard combination to open the Power User Tasks menu.
- When the menu is open, click the Command Prompt (Admin) menu option.

- Click Start.
- In the Start Search box, type Command Prompt.
- Right-click the Command Prompt icon.
- In the small menu that appears, click the Run as administrator option.

- In the Search the web and Windows search box, type cmd.
- Right-click the Command Prompt menu option.
- In the small menu that appears, select the Run as administrator option.
If the User Account Control (UAC) dialog displays, click Yes to continue. You may not see this dialog box, depending on your User Account Control settings.
