exsessive RAM usage in Brave.

There was an instance of Brave that was using over 4gb of RAM and I could not delete it using the Task Manager. It said I didn't have permission, Then I changed the permissions, and it changed them back.  It would switch the Wi-Fi on when I turned it off.  I finally downloaded Asmwsoft. It deleted it. 

How do I know it's gone?  Adaware Pro never found anything, it runs every 24 hours automatically.
