lpfw deadly slow down pc when not connected

Dear Sirs

now and then, when I'm NOT connected to internet , I notice the pc is VEEERY slow :angry: :angry: :angry: and looking into the CPU processes % of use under task manager, I often see lpfw.exe sucking all the cpu activity. Usually, it's enough to connect to internet (I have an ADSL line) to solve the problem.

Why this happens?
