Is this email from Lavasoft genuine, please?
Hi. I've just received an email from support@em.lavasoft.com headed "Important Action required - Update your profile today" per the attached.
Is it genuine please?
PS I tried to copy and paste from notepad to here using the ctrl key. Nothing happened - is it me?

Don't answer that email. I strongly suspect it is spam!!!!!! I have notified Cecilia who will look into this.

Hi taffy078,
I'll ask my contact person at Lavasoft to be sure that it's spam.
Do you see a link when you have the mouse cursor on top of the button and what does it say?0 -
Hi both. CeciliaB - hovering shows it's from "support@em.lavasoft.com

In case it helps, I have added the Full Header to my original document. None of the three above Paste icons work and there's no Add Document option showing - I'll check the "More Reply Options". Success - I hope!

It's is really an email from Lavasoft, and it has been verified by Yahoo.
Authentication-Results: mta1040.bt.mail.ir2.yahoo.com from=em.lavasoft.com; domainkeys=pass (ok); from=em.lavasoft.com; dkim=pass (ok)
But, my contact person would like to see it as an email for a last check. Please, forward it to the email address I have sent to you in a PM.

I have got a confirmation from the support team that it's valid, and it's sent due to the new Canadian Anti Spam Law. All persons, that registered than 3 years ago or more, must confirm that they want to continue to receive emails, otherwise they will be removed from Lavasoft's system.
Regarding pasting in the forum, it's a known issue with Internet Explorer 11 and all forums based on IP Boards forum platform. You can click the "BBCode Mode" button in the top left corner first and then paste as a work around (click again to see formatting).

sorry to trouble you again CeciliaB but I hit the "button" in the email (well, actually it was another identical email - attached - that I got this morning just after you pm'd me).
It asked for my email address and when I entered it, the closing message was along the lines of "Thank you for this - we will now email you a link to your profile.
That was over two hours ago. Do you think I should email that colleague?

I like when users are asking questions, no need to apologize
This is a question for the support team, and the email address, you got in a PM, is to another team. Please, send me you email address in a PM and I'll forward it to my contact person in the support team for an investigation.
