    I´m also very astonished that there is no Update of the Definition Files since 21[sup]th[/sup] of December??????

    I looked at Definition Files Update side an nothing changed.

    Another person has also reported this, but I cannot get in touch with my contact person at Lavasoft until Wednesday.

    I stopped getting any updates since the 23rd of Dec. When I try to update it says software is up to date.

    Same for me. My last update was December 22nd. When I try to update I get a message that the software is up to date.

    Lavasoft is investigating the problem. Since my contact person at Lavasoft was on a business trip last week and Christmas holiday this Monday, I could not reach him until yesterday.

    From my point of view it seems to be not longer reasonable to use Ad-Aware, one week without updates.



    What happens with Ad-Aware??????

    It is now one week since I've been able to update definitions and I am very concerned. Could someone please give us a status report on this situation?

    Lavasoft has managed to find the reason and will probably be able to fix the problem tomorrow (Friday, office hours, European time). It has taken more time than usual due to the holidays.

    If you know what the problem was, do consider to share it with us at least for future reference.

    If Lavasoft was not shut down a week for holidays then, it seems they have a very serious internal issue here. At least very poor communication with the users.

    Got the new definitions & scanned well on both V9.5.1 and V8.1.4 (149.983) this morning. Will see how it is in the coming days.

    Hi Guys!



    Happy New Year! After the update on the 31st I am now unable to get any updates. The download starts but is unable to finish the complete update.



    Am I alone in with this problem?

    There are several reports in the forum about this new update problem. Lavasoft is trying to find a solution.

    Please, test if you can update Ad-Aware now by using the built-in function. Lavasoft has made some changes.

    My ancient V8.1.4 free one 's definitions are now to "998" tonight.

    My V9.5.1 free one's definitions are now to "685" tonight.



    My V8.1.4 is still in "998" though.



    Its unreliable connection service during the past few weeks really frustrate me.

    my last update was 14th on both machines, and now when i tried both it locks up and disappears OR it does a gui fail error. what gives? thought this thing was working, and now its not.

    After update from 13.1.2012 def. nr. 0150.0681 i dont get any new update (AAW free version 9.6.0; Desktop Win XPPro Sp3; my notebook Win 7).
