Application rules issue
Found a bug in beta 3 12.0.390.10466 , on windows 8.1 64bit on vmware player:
I clearly told application control to not allow any inbound or outbound traffic from iexplore.exe and as this image shows, it didnt block it.
also i cant upload the compressed adaware12 zip file as its 215mb in size

Information from Lavasoft:
Please, note that you have two folders for Internet Explorer in 64 bits Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer
You have to add rules for both since 32 bits Internet Explorer is used in 64 bits Windows too.

Hi again rosendalek19,
Thanks for the report, you are a good tester
Can you see if there is a sub-folder to C:\ProgramData\adaware\adaware antivirus that is particularly large and then exclude that sub-folder when creating the zip file, or at least zip and upload the sub-folder containing the log files?

here you go, also for whatever reason the total security just reverted itself to free edition, but it worked when i re-registered the key

I will do this, and report back.

Ok I added both the x86 file and 64bit file. and it blocked internet access. Why would microsoft use a 32bit edition in a 64bit OS?

I'm not sure but I think they use the 32 bit edition for each tab you see in Internet Explorer and the 64 bit edition for the process that is the master. One tab needs less than 4 GB RAM memory and since a 64 bit edition (of all programs) uses more memory than the 32 bit edition, it saves computer resources to use 32 bit when possible.
