Clearly this shows BrowserModifier:Win32/* and Win32:Adware/* behavior on fist analysis. And it modifies system files and hard to remove with defender itself. The website has also been flagged in several blocklists. Networkanalysis though haven't find any unusual behavior. High disk activity slows the computer with mechanical drive and degrades ssd. It is also lebeled as Program.Unwanted by dr web.

 

Anyone installed this should use malwarebytes/avira/zemana to remove it.

  c'mon everyone knows lavasoft is a scam company, provides unwanted software. Securesearch contains scam ads. Adaware adblock itself contains ads. Don't be hypocrite.

  What are you talking about, there are no Adaware beta versions and it isn't difficult to remove Adaware antivirus with its own tools.
