AdAware 9.0.6 BSOD Bugcheck 0x0000003b
I updated to 9.0.6 today and I'm still encountering a BSOD when performing a full scan of the free edition of Ad-Aware. The BSOD occurs on every full scan, and occasionally on SmartScans. The BSOD only occurs when a Ad-Aware scan is in progress. This problem started around the time of the "thorax" update issues (at that time all scans caused a BSOD). With 9.0.6 it appears only the full scan causes a BSOD, but every full scan I've attempted has had a BSOD. I have had one successful SmartScan with 9.0.6. I have saved a copy of the most recent memory dump. Here's a brief summary of the system configuration:

Hi JPF,
Is it possible for you to zip C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP and upload it here in the forum. Without the dump file it is definitely impossible to say anything about your problem but it will be very difficult even with the dump file.
Have you checked if Action Center lists any suggestions or gives more information?

Hi JPF,
You are welcome. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
Try to upload it on a web site instead. If you don't have a favourite you can try http://www.woofiles.com/
Have you tried to uninstall following http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=30850 restart and then install latest Ad-Aware again?0 -
Hi CeciliaB!
Thanks for your reply. I have checked the action center and it says "No issues have been detected by Action Center".
I've attempted to attach the zip twice and it fails without an error message. The zip is 222,200KB but that should meet the guidlines. How can i provide the file?
