Upon switching on my computer Google Chrome opens by smartinf.ru site

This is the precise address I see:

smartinf.ru/?utm_source=uoua03&utm_content=990952b6c1e87d15b75fcf27f61afa0f

I blocked everything that can be blocked from this site: cookies, images, etc. but this did not help. The site name does not appear at any place I can reach in my computer. Actually Google Chrome does not expect to open by itself. It seems to be some Windows initiation program into which command that opens Chrome with smartinf.ru site was added without permission.

This, I guess , is what malware supposed to do, but Ad-Aware antivirus did not catch anything.

Lavasoft support team suggested me to apply to this forum.

I attach the screen shot that appears when I switch on my computersmartinf.bmp.

    1. If possible, please uninstall the following adware/crapware:
    Advanced System Protector
    DealBulldog Toolbar Toolbar
    iLivid

    Uninstall the following since they are old version with many known vulnerabilities that can be exploited by a web page to infect the computer:
    Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.1_07
    Java 7 Update 17
    Java Web Start

     

    Since you are using an operating system with known vulnerabilities, it's very important that you don't add more vulnerabilities by using outdated program versions.

     

     

    2. Please, save AdwCleaner by Xplode on the desktop: https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/

    Turn off all programs, including browsers.
    Double-click on AdwCleaner to start the program.

    Click on the Scan button.
    Wait until the search has finished.

    Click on the Log file button.
    A report will be displayed, copy its content and paste into your reply.
    If the report isn't displayed, it's available as C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[R0].txt.
