boot problems on adaware rescue disk on bootable memory stick pro duo card
Hi all,
i have tried to create Adaware rescue disk on bootable memory stick pro duo card:
when followed this tutorial below:
i tried rufus -> select memory stick pro duo card (disk L:/) -> import adaware iso -> create, but the creation are failed with error,
the screen capture of this error is below,
then i tried Yumi (multiboot creator), selected adaware iso and the memory stick pro duo, and began the creation, then i tried to import another iso (include 200 mb iso) like clonezilla live, drbl, etc... but an error says "no enough free space, do you format it ?" but this memorystick pro duo card (MS card) are actually 700 mb free space on 2 Gb of this card, when this error message on yumi appeared
also on this card are infected with portables versions of PC Optimizer Pro, PC Cleaner & WinThruster,
the scans & disinfections logs are below;
Thanks...

Do you follow all steps including selecting MBR and NTFS: https://www.adaware.com/rescue-USB

Can you delete the folders and files of those programs?
One of the advantages with portable programs is that it's very easy to delete them, no need to uninstall.
If not, formatting the USB key deletes them.
If you mean that the computer was infected with those programs, it seems that AdwCleaner deleted files that belong to those programs.
I'm still not interested of logs from programs I haven't told you to use.

Have you tried to restart the computer and not start any other program before using Rufus?

I don't trust such programs, they're promising to fix more than it's possible to fix.

What do you see if you look at the top (root) folder on the memory stick with Windows Explorer?
Screen shot, please.
Depending on UEFI a memory stick can be sorted as something else than an USB disk.

...and the adaware bootable disk on memorystick pro duo card is no recognized on my uefi and of the bootable device's selection screen when i choose to boot on usb disk
Thanks...

Looks like something that can be bootable.
Since you know that you've UEFI you might try selecting MBR for UEFI or GPT for UEFI, and FAT32 instead of NTFS in Rufus. Hard to know what your computer likes.

But Rufus can support the other alternatives according to other web pages.

the problem with rufus is i can only choose mbr and ntfs but not fat32 and not gpt, sorry,
i can (re)-try with Yumi (multiboot) with adaware and another iso,
in the past on 2017 i tried to make multibootables usb with Yumi but i had always boot errors with that,
Thanks...

i always had boot errors with unetbootin,
i go try again with yumi,
if boot errors persists with yumi,
we continue the troubleshooting of boot of adaware.iso(and/or multiboot+adaware.iso) on memorystick card and the disinfection of galaxy book on this actual topic,
Thanks...

I suggest that you create a memory stick with only adaware rescue disk.
Have you checked that those settings are the recommended for a computer with UEFI?
Have you turned off Secure boot in UEFI?
i have turned off secure boot, but i can't found the recommended settings for uefi in yumi, i think uefi recommended settings is grub and fat32/ntfs in yumi,
maybe because of openoffice and iobit malware fighter, but theses two applications uninstalled since yesterday,
-microsoft visual c++2005 & java not updated
-adaware pro trial succesfully installed on all my computers
Thanks...

i want the rescue disk on memorystick pro duo card, is important/critical for me

If an installed adaware antivirus can scan and remove threats, the Rescue disk isn't needed.

Ok, I'm sorry, but I haven't created bootable memory sticks during the last years. What I've read is that UEFI usually means that it's necessary with other settings regarding MBR/GPT and NTFS/FAT32 than with BIOS.

Isn't it easier just to start BIOS/UEFI to find out?
No, it isn't. Adaware Secure Search is however financed by ads and therefore adware. Should be easy to remove from the browsers, if you don't want to have it, e.g. by using AdwCleaner.
Then you can contact the support team (through the menu in adaware antivirus) instead of using this forum with volunteers.
i have uninstalled Bittorrent & Winzip yesterday at 2:15 PM,
i had today aida64 and made a screen capture, the capture is below,
i rescanned the "MemoryStick 2.0 GB Card" & "Samsung Galaxy Book PC" with Parethologic PC Heath Advisor/Digital Care, QuickDiag by SOSVirus & USB File Resc,
the scans logs of quickdiag, adwcleaner (removal of adaware secure search) & usb file resc is below,
my galaxy book no enough free space, i'm producing a video with camtasia studio, and i decided to upload this video to Box cloud for free space on C:/ on galaxy book,
and i decided also to upload on Box cloud the content of memorystick bootable adaware iso/yumi multiboot (adaware rescue memorystick card disk) by installing Clevx USB To Cloud on this Memorystick, but error message "impossible/fails to install USB To Cloud" becauses of 0 Mb free space on MemoryStick, makes the impossibility to upload contents of adaware rescue disk/memorystick card to Box cloud,
and i'm obligate to upload to Box cloud with the Box website because "Box Sync" failed to install
Thanks...

It's says it's UEFI.
Good that AdwDCleaner was able to remove Web Companion.
Have you any questions related to adaware antivirus except how to create a bootable memory stick?

Sorry, I can't help you with creating bootable memory sticks. I suggest that you ask in a general purpose Windows forum since using Rufus or another similar program isn't related to adaware.
Same with questions about recognition of connected hardware and Android-devices.
I know that adaware antivirus is owned by Avanquest now.
I find it meaningless to help you with malware since you don't trust my advices and continue to install bad programs.

the general purpoose Windows forum is here on "general support" on this link:
https://forum.adaware.com/index.php?/forum/61-general-support/
but i can't access "general support" for resollve uefi problem/boot for Adaware Rescue MemoryStick, because of "issuficient memory" error on my browsers,
Thanks...

No, that is still not a general purpose Windows forum, it's meant for questions related to adaware products and company that don't fit into one of the other forums. General purpose forum for Windows related questions are Geeks to Go, Bleeping Computer, sevenforums.com and many others. I guess that there are French-speaking forums in France too, maybe Zebulon or CommentCaMarche
