Incremental update

Hi all

I dont know if its possible but i see Adaware uses Bitdefender engine a virus definitions and each time an update is attempted, the entire database with engine is downloaded. It would be possible to work on incremental updates? / I know Bitdefender probably doesnt provide incremental update for third party software in their api / Who knows im only asking :)
