After Installing Adaware The Power Button Stopped Working

    Not getting any response, I started searching online and came across some posts like this one. I used the command prompt that is "secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose" and run DISM and SFC scans. After completing the task the problem got solved. Now I have no longer any issues while accessing the power button.

    So far I have tried two things. Firstly, I downloaded Adaware and it found nothing on my computer. Secondly, I tried to reset the PC by pressing the reset button on the back of the computer. That also did not work. I'm going to try some more things later today but if you have an answer that will solve this problem please let me know what you have done to fix it!
