Automatic updates on Windows startup
I think it would be a lot more convenient if Adaware automatically updated once Windows has started up, then refer to the hourly updates (or whatever way you have Adaware configured to receive them). Can you add this in a future release?

Hi PEllis,
I think that some years ago Ad-Aware antivirus was updated immediately after Windows had started, but then users complained that it made the computer slow and it took too long time to login or do something directly after login.

Thanks, I've forwarded your suggestion to my contact person at adaware software.

Maybe the developers can make the update process lighter on system resources or something? This means that the user will be browsing the web with an outdated product, unless they manually update, which defeats the purpose of having automatic updates. Personally, I don't want to manually update everytime I turn on my computer, especially considering I'm using the Pro version; I expect it to do it for me.

Hi Eizadora,
I guess that you can notice any differences yourself. But as I wrote back in 2018, users have different opinions and maybe more dislike an automatic update at Windows startup since it makes the startup slower.
