hitbox.tv chat getting blocked

I'm not sure where this goes, it is kind of a false positive, but it seems like a bug as well. I have adaware 11, fully updated.

Basically, I was unable to access any of the chats on www.hitbox.tv. Eventually I realized that stopping ad-aware fixed the problem.

The other issue is I don't even have web protection installed, and it happened with real-time protection turned off. Should it still be monitoring my web connections anyway? Does httproxy.dll serve any purpose for me at all without web protection?
