Has your payment failed? That's annoying. We are happy to help you on this page.
Check your daily limit
Sometimes banks set a daily limit on how much you can spend. If you’ve hit that limit, your payment might be blocked.
Here’s what you can do:
- Try again tomorrow when your limit resets.
- Contact your bank to see if they can raise your limit.
- Use a different payment method if possible.
Make sure you have enough funds
If you have insufficient funds in your account, the payment will be blocked by the bank.
Issues with Credit Card or PayPal Payments
Your payment might have failed due to one of the following reasons:
- Spending Limit Reached: Your credit card’s limit has been exceeded.
- Incorrect Information: Ensure the CVC code, expiration date, and account number are entered correctly. Avoid using dashes or spaces in the account number.
- Security Measures: Some transactions may require confirmation, such as a signature or 3D-secure authentication. If not completed, the payment might be declined by your bank.
- Card Activation: If your card is new, it might not be activated yet. Contact your bank to confirm.
- Unsecured Wi-Fi: the payment takes place at an unsecured Wi-Fi location where fraud has been detected on other occasions. Try switching to a secure, private network and give it another go.
-
3D-Secure Validation: If the 3D-secure validation was unsuccessful, please ensure that
- the correct information was provided during the authentication process.
- you have completed any necessary steps prompted by your bank, such as entering a code sent via SMS.
Error '3D secure validation was unsuccessful'
3D Secure is an added layer of protection for online payments. It’s designed to ensure that your transactions are really being made by you. Each bank handles this security check differently, using methods like two-factor authentication, passwords, fingerprints, or even scanning an ID tag.
If you see messages like “3D secure validation was unsuccessful” or “3D Authentication failed,” it means that the extra security step known as "3D Secure" didn’t go through successfully.
Here’s what you can do:
- Double-Check Your Info: Make sure you’ve entered all the required information correctly. It’s easy to make a small typo, so take a moment to review everything. Also, ensure that Caps Lock isn’t accidentally on.
- Try Again: If it was just a small mistake, correcting it should allow you to complete the payment.
- Contact Your Bank: If the error keeps popping up, it’s a good idea to reach out to your bank for more information. They can help you figure out what went wrong and how to fix it.
For failed transactions that were still deducted from your account, they should get their balance back automatically from your bank as it never reached our end. It usually takes up to 5-7 days.
